Day 22- Love

Day 22 – Love

Scripture: “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.” — 1 Corinthians 13:1

Love is the fuel that gives purpose to every fire God ignites within us. Passion, zeal, spiritual gifts, and powerful prayers may impress people, but without love they lose their eternal value. The fire of God is never meant to consume people; it is meant to reveal His heart. When love is absent, even sincere service can become harsh, prideful, or self-seeking.

Jesus demonstrated perfect love through sacrifice. He loved the undeserving, forgave His enemies, and laid down His life for others. As we continue these 40 Days with Fire, God desires to refine our hearts so that everything we do flows from His love. True spiritual maturity is not measured by how loudly we speak, but by how deeply we love.

Ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart today. Are there relationships that need healing? Is there someone who needs forgiveness, encouragement, or compassion? Let God's love burn away bitterness, selfishness, and judgment. As His love fills you, your life will become a powerful witness of His grace and truth.

Prayer: “Lord, fill me with Your love. Let every word, action, and act of service reflect Your heart. Teach me to love sacrificially as You have loved me. Amen.”

Serving: Love sacrificially by meeting a need, offering forgiveness, or serving someone without expecting anything in return
