Day 30- Boldness
Scripture: Acts 4:29
"Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable Your servants to speak Your word with great boldness."
Devotion:
Boldness is not the absence of fear; it is the presence of faith greater than fear. When the early believers faced opposition, criticism, and threats, they did not pray for an easier path. They prayed for courage. They asked God to fill them with His Spirit so they could continue proclaiming the truth of Christ without compromise.
The fire of God produces holy boldness in the hearts of believers. Fear tells us to remain silent, avoid difficult conversations, and protect our comfort. The Holy Spirit reminds us that Christ is with us and that His truth is worth sharing. Throughout Scripture, God consistently used ordinary people who were willing to trust Him beyond their fears. Moses, Esther, Peter, Paul, and countless others discovered that God's strength becomes most evident when we step forward in faith.
Boldness is not arrogance. It is humility that trusts God enough to obey Him. It is speaking the truth in love, standing for righteousness with grace, and refusing to let fear dictate our actions.
Today, ask the Lord to ignite fresh courage within you. The same Spirit who empowered the apostles lives in you and will give you the strength to speak and live for Christ.
Prayer:
"Lord Jesus, remove the fear that keeps me silent. Fill me with Your Spirit and make me bold in faith, gentle in love, and faithful in truth. Amen."
Serving:
Speak a word of truth, encouragement, or hope to someone who needs to hear it today
