Day 29- Witness

Scripture: Acts 1:8
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses..."

Devotion:
The fire of God was never intended to remain hidden. When the Holy Spirit filled the disciples at Pentecost, He did not simply give them a spiritual experience; He gave them a mission. The same fire that warmed their hearts propelled them into the world as witnesses of Jesus Christ.

Many believers assume witnessing requires a seminary degree, a perfect understanding of theology, or an extraordinary gift of speaking. Yet the most powerful testimony is often the simplest one: telling others what Jesus has done in your life. Your story of grace, healing, forgiveness, restoration, or perseverance may be exactly what someone else needs to hear.

The Holy Spirit empowers ordinary people to share an extraordinary Savior. We are not called to save anyone—that is God's work. We are called to be faithful witnesses. A witness simply tells the truth about what they have seen and experienced.

Ask God today to open your eyes to opportunities around you. Someone in your family, workplace, neighborhood, or community may be searching for hope. The fire of the Spirit sends us beyond our comfort zones so that others may encounter the love of Christ through our lives and words.

Prayer:
"Lord Jesus, thank You for the work You have done in my life. Fill me with Your Spirit and give me courage to share my story. Use my voice to point others to You. Amen."

Serving:
Share your testimony or a story of God's faithfulness with one person today
