Day 10- Filled
Scripture:
Acts 2:4
"They were all filled with the Holy Ghost..."
Devotion:
The miracle of Pentecost was not merely that the disciples heard a rushing wind or saw tongues of fire. The greatest miracle was that ordinary people were filled with the presence of God. Men and women who had once been fearful, uncertain, and hesitant became bold witnesses because the Holy Spirit now lived within them.
God has always desired to fill His people. He filled the tabernacle with His glory. He filled the temple with His presence. At Pentecost, He filled human hearts. The lesson is simple yet profound: God fills what is open to Him.
Many of us ask God for more power, more courage, more wisdom, or more peace. Yet before God can fill us, we must create room for Him. Pride, worry, bitterness, and self-sufficiency leave little space for the Spirit’s work. A surrendered heart becomes a vessel ready to receive all God desires to give.
Today, open every corner of your life to Christ. Invite Him into your fears, your hopes, your relationships, and your future. The Holy Spirit does not merely visit; He fills. And when He fills us, He transforms us.
Prayer:
“Holy Spirit, fill me fully. Remove whatever hinders Your work in my life and make me a vessel of Your presence today. Amen.”
