Day 13- Transformation
Day 13 – Transformation
Scripture:
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” — 2 Corinthians 3:18
Devotion:
The work of the Holy Spirit is not merely to comfort us—it is to transform us. God loves us exactly as we are, but He loves us too much to leave us unchanged. Through His presence, the rough edges of our character are softened, our hearts become more compassionate, and our lives begin to reflect the beauty of Christ.
Transformation is often slower than we would like. We may desire instant change, yet God frequently works through a lifelong process of shaping, refining, and renewing. Day by day, prayer by prayer, act of obedience by act of obedience, the Spirit molds us into the image of Jesus.
The goal of the Christian life is not simply to know more about Christ but to become more like Him. As we spend time in His presence, His love influences our words, His grace affects our actions, and His character becomes visible through our lives.
Today, remember that transformation is God's work within you. Your responsibility is to remain open, available, and surrendered. The Spirit will do what only He can do—change you from the inside out.
Prayer:
“Holy Spirit, change me. Shape my thoughts, words, and actions to reflect Jesus. Transform me into His image so that others may see Your love through my life. Amen.”
Serving:
Reflect Christ today by showing kindness, patience, and grace to someone who needs encouragement.
