Day 6- Clean Heart
Day 6 – Clean Heart
Scripture: Psalm 51:10
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
Devotion:
Fire cannot continue to burn where impurity is allowed to gather unchecked. In the same way, the spiritual fire God places within us must be sustained by a heart willing to be examined, corrected, and renewed. David prayed these words after recognizing the depth of his own failure. He did not ask God merely to improve his behavior; he asked God to transform his heart.
A clean heart is not a perfect heart. It is a surrendered heart. It is a heart honest enough to confess, humble enough to repent, and courageous enough to change. The Holy Spirit does not expose our brokenness to shame us, but to heal us. Purity is not about appearances; it is about alignment with the character and presence of Christ.
Today, ask the Lord to search every hidden corner of your life. Release bitterness, pride, resentment, or compromise. Let God remove whatever dulls the fire He placed within you.
Prayer:
“Cleanse me, Lord. Purify my heart and renew my spirit so that my life reflects You.”
Serving Focus:
Make something right today. Offer an apology, restore a relationship, or correct a wrong with humility and grace
